Is it free to search for properties on Rent Orbit?

Yes, 100% free. Searching, browsing, filtering, and contacting property owners on Rent Orbit is completely free for all tenants and students. There are no registration fees, no hidden charges, and no subscription required to use the platform.

How do I find a hostel or PG near my coaching institute?

Go to our Listings page and use the Location filter to search by area or landmark. You can also filter by property type (Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, PG, 1BHK) and set your monthly budget to find exactly what fits your needs.

Are the listings on Rent Orbit verified and trustworthy?

Yes. Every listing on Rent Orbit goes through a personal verification process before going live. We check property details, photos, and owner information to ensure accuracy. No fake listings, no misleading photos — just honest, real properties.

Can I contact the property owner directly?

Absolutely. Rent Orbit connects you directly with property owners — no middlemen, no brokers. You can call or message the owner directly from the listing page, ask questions about the property, and schedule a visit at your convenience.

What types of properties are available on Rent Orbit?

We have a wide range of properties including Boys Hostels, Girls Hostels, PG Rooms, 1BHK Apartments, 2BHK Apartments, and shared rooms. All properties are in Kota, Rajasthan and are located near major coaching institutes like Allen, Resonance, and Vibrant Academy.

How quickly can I find and book a property?

Most students find a suitable property within 24 to 48 hours of searching on Rent Orbit. Since you contact owners directly and listings are updated in real time, you can finalize a property very quickly — often within the same day of your visit.

How do I list my property on Rent Orbit?

It is very simple. Click Add Listing at the top of any page, create a free account, and fill in your property details — location, price, photos, amenities, and contact information. Your listing will go live after a quick verification check, usually within 24 hours.

Is listing my property on Rent Orbit free?

Basic property listing on Rent Orbit is completely free. You can list your hostel, PG, or apartment and start receiving inquiries without paying anything. We also offer Premium Listing and Featured Advertisement options for owners who want more visibility.

How many tenants will see my listing?

Hundreds of students and families search on Rent Orbit every month. Your listing is visible to all users searching in your area. Featured listings get even more visibility — they appear at the top of search results and on the homepage, getting significantly more inquiries.

Can I edit or update my listing after publishing?

Yes. You can log in to your owner dashboard at any time to update photos, change pricing, edit amenities, mark a room as occupied, or completely remove a listing. Keeping your listing updated ensures you only receive relevant inquiries.

What is the difference between a free listing and a premium listing?

A Free Listing appears in standard search results. A Premium Listing gets a Featured badge, appears at the top of search results, is highlighted on the homepage, and receives priority placement — resulting in significantly more inquiries. Contact us at info@rentorbit.co.in to upgrade.

How do I filter properties by my budget?

On the Listings page, use the Price filter on the left side to set your minimum and maximum monthly budget. You can combine this with the Location, Property Type, and Amenities filters to find the most relevant properties for your needs.

Are listings updated in real time?

Yes. Property owners can update their listing status at any time. When a room gets occupied, the owner marks it as unavailable and it is removed from search results. This means every listing you see is currently available — you will never waste time on an occupied property.

Can I save or bookmark listings I like?

Yes. Create a free account on Rent Orbit and you can add listings to your favorites by clicking the heart icon on any property card. Your saved listings are accessible from your account dashboard so you can compare them easily.

Which areas of Kota are covered on Rent Orbit?

We currently cover all major student areas in Kota including Basant Vihar, Coral Park, Dadabari, Talwandi, Mahaveer Nagar, Vigyan Nagar, and more. We are adding new areas regularly. If you don't find your area, contact us and we will prioritize it.

Does Rent Orbit charge any brokerage or commission?

Absolutely not. Rent Orbit charges zero brokerage and zero commission. We believe you should keep all your money. There is no fee charged to tenants for finding a property, and no commission taken from owners when a deal is made. Direct connections, no cost.

What are the premium listing plans for property owners?

We offer monthly and quarterly subscription plans for property owners who want featured visibility and priority placement. Plans include a Featured badge, homepage placement, and highlighted search results. For current pricing, please contact our team or email us at info@rentorbit.co.in.

Are there any hidden charges on the platform?

No hidden charges — ever. What you see is what you get. Tenants pay nothing. Basic listings for owners are free. Premium listing plans are clearly priced upfront. Any charges are always communicated transparently before you commit to anything.

Does Rent Orbit handle rent payments between tenants and owners?

Currently, rent payments are handled directly between the tenant and property owner. Rent Orbit connects you — the financial transaction happens between both parties as per mutual agreement. We are working on an in-app payment feature for the future.

How does Rent Orbit verify property listings?

Our team personally verifies each listing before it goes live. We check the property details, photos, owner identity, and contact information to ensure everything is accurate and genuine. Any listing that does not meet our standards is rejected or sent back for corrections.

Is my personal information safe on Rent Orbit?

Yes. We take data privacy seriously. Your personal information is never shared or sold to third parties. Contact details are only visible to registered users, and our platform is secured with standard encryption. For more details, read our Privacy Policy.

What should I do if I find a fake or suspicious listing?

If you spot a listing that seems fake or suspicious, please report it immediately using the Report button on the listing page, or email us at info@rentorbit.co.in. We will investigate and remove it within 24 hours. Your report helps keep the platform safe for everyone.

Is Rent Orbit safe for girls' hostels and PGs?

Safety is our top priority for girls' accommodations. All girls hostels and PGs listed on Rent Orbit are screened for security features including CCTV, secure entry, warden presence, and curfew policies. We also encourage parents to visit the property before finalizing. If you have any safety concerns, contact us directly.
